self-portrait.

it's a bit weird? to be posting a picture of myself? but i did take it, and i really love the spatial balance, the reflection of lights in the background, the black and white, i love this picture so much. in terms of photographic effect. not subject matter. i do however, regret that i was wearing my earphones. they block my earrings.

apple: beloved.

this is eliza, my 4gb ipod nano. she is my most beloved possession, she's with me everywhere, and i listen to her almost everyday. sometimes just at home as i go to bed. because true love waits. and eliza's always waiting on me.
and this is rebekah. spelt that way because it's apparently the original hebrew spelling. while i adore rebekah, she has her quirks that irritate me so it's nowhere near the flawless love i share with eliza. but she's gorgeous nonetheless, and i do dote on her a lot in terms of funding.

off the coast of western singapore lies jurong island, a petrochemicals facility that is guarded by
the singapore armed forces. it's desolate landscape and open spaces make for excellent scenery.



the above three pictures were take from within my vehicle. while i was driving in fact.

because shifts often start at unusual hours, i'm usually awake to see both sunrise and sunset. these are both sunrise by the way.

like i said, it's an island. so it has gorgeous coasts and beaches too.

maju camp cats!

the cats in maju camp. in my two odd years there i lived through... 3 generations. cats breed fast. hot damn. the colours are all a little bleached, and while it works for the solo sleeping cat photo, the kitten and two black brothers could have done with richer contrast. the limits of (again) my N7610.

it's weird... i suddenly feel compelled to make a phlog. my photos aren't always nice, but i do have so many i like. and who knows. maybe making a phlog will encourage me to shoot more.
